THE WORD TO THE WORLD

THE POWER OF MINISTERING TO THE LORD

THE POWER OF MINISTERING TO THE LORD

"As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them" (Acts 13:3)

Acts 13:1-3

Like as the disciples gathered together at Antioch to minister to the Lord, so the Holy Spirit wants us, as believers today, to rise up and minister to the Lord. The disciples who gathered together in Antioch had diverse ministries. Some were prophets, some teachers, yet their ministries didn't hinder them from ministering to the Lord. They still came together, staying in the presence of the, ministering unto Him.

Ministering to the Lord can be personal, family, fellowship, congregation, (Acts 6:4; Deuteronomy 10:8: 1 Samuel 2:11: 1 Chronicles 16:4,37-43)

And. remember, there are: (1) church as a worker or minister. ministering in the (2) ministering to the world and, (3) ministering to the Lord. But ministering to the Lord involves being in personal service of the Lord referencing, praising the chanting His titles, worshipping, bowing, singing Psalms, being melodious, using worship instruments to praise God, reading His word, listening to Him and hearing from Him, and also giving unto Him. Understand, as well, that God demands HOLY ministering (Romans 12:1,2). HUMBLE ministering (Luke 7:36-48), HEAVENLY worship (Colossians 3:1-2). The ministering to the Lord in Acts 13:1-3, gave birth to the greatest missionary movement in the world (Acts 13:1-2). To minister to the Lord is to bring God joy and pleasure (Revelation 4:1 1). We are to worship the Lord with our lips (Hebrews 13:15).

THE PEOPLE WHO MINISTER TO THE LORD

(1) People of Truth and the Spirit, (2) People with Testimony of Salvation, (3) People who of Transformation through Salvation, (4)People of total submissiveness unto the Lord, (5) People with the tongue of the Spirit, (6) People who are true seekers of God (Jeremiah 29:13), (7) People who have turned totally-from sin, (8) People thirst for the Scripture, and, (9) People who trust in the Saviour.

As we begin to minister the Lord. His wonders will be mightily pronounced in our lives in Jesus Christ Name (Amen)
